My painting journey began with a love of colour and the mesmerising number of combinations to explore. For me, colour can transcend emotion, thought and direction. I take my time with each painting, building layers and experimenting along the way. I'm interested in the relationship between shapes and contrasting colours, and the slow process of arriving at the right composition. Painting, for me, is a constant shift between playing, failing, fixing, refining and learning to let go.

I love painting with pink. It's often the colour that divides an audience but to me it is deeply feminine, charged with warmth, intimacy and strength, especially when paired with cool tones, white and black.

I find myself abstracting from the natural world almost subconsciously. Even at a microscopic level, I've always found an abundance of interesting shapes and patterns. I love observing the colours of my surroundings, magnifying them and trying to capture similar sensations in my works.

I grew up in a beautiful part of southern Poland. I moved to the UK to pursue a PhD in biological sciences. I spent most of my career working within scientific research, drug discovery management and world of interior design.

Years spent between science and the creative industry have taught me to look closely - painting is where I follow my instinct to discover and explore.

I'm based in Nottingham, UK, where I live with my family. I'm open to collaborations, exhibitions and studio visits.
